Go to gunbroker.com, Look for fusion firearms, purchase one of their kits and build the best looking 1911 ever

Why not buy one of the Colt 1911 anniversary models when they open up for orders? You should have time to save up enough $ to buy one of the limited run models.

Maybe a Wilson Combat 1911?

A Ruger SP101? definitely a great carry gun!

The Remington 1911 that's coming out soon....maybe a little to early for that, they may need to work out some bugs who knows?

Yep, you do have a lot of choices.

My money would probably be on the Colt, they are sure to be valuable collectible's down the road.

Price options are pushing me toward AK-47 and SKS (leaning toward SKS mostly cause they're cheaper and i think theyre good lookin) I would have to say the biggest void I have would definitely be a rifle with some more power than a .22. I have a handgun that will work for now. I'm not too big on handguns anyways. There was a very nice chinese SKS at my local gun shop for about $235 a while back so I'm hoping when I get the $ he will still have it! Of course once that void is filled I'll be looking at handguns! 1911!!!!

I have really enjoyed my SKS, Norinco. It isn't as cheap to shoot as a .22, but it's more fun to me. I paid a bit more for mine, last year, so the price looks good to me (depending on quality of course). There are lots of toys for the SKS, but if you are thinking telescopic sights, you may have a bit of difficulty mounting it. The receiver cover mounts seem wiggle-prone & the two i have have to be re-zeroed each time you break it down for cleaning. One of the mounts i have barely got installed before i decided to dump it. There are peep sights available & i'm lusting after one brand of them, though the factory sights are adequate for me really.

I feel your pain on the decision matrix; i am lusting after at least a half dozen firearms at this moment. I will buy one lucky winner in the next couple of weeks, probably a GP100, but maybe a Draco AK pistol (just for fun).

I'm an Iron sights kinda guy so I don't think I'll be too worried about the telescopic thing. Thanks for the input though! I'll def. be looking out for the norinco's I haven't heard great things about the yugo's and I'm borderling impoverished so I can't just throw the $$$ around.
