Here's one of my favorites, except I like their XX or XXX chili better:

Man - wish I had known about Texas Chili Parlor when I was down in Austin a few weeks ago. Will put that on the list if I ever get back there.

I grew up in Cincinnati. So I love a good 5 way. I usually don't eat it that way unless I"m in town though.

I put my chili over elbow macaroni and then put cheese on top and the chili has to have beans in it. Now my Mom loves the 5 way chili from Steak and Shake.

NO!!! Adding noodles just turns it into a thick spicy pasta sauce.

In law school I worked for the Austin D.A.'s office, which was about three blocks from the Chili Parlor. My best law school buddy and I would go there two or three times a week. Ever since then i try to eat there whenever I'm in Austin.

Good eatin.

Chili is eaten with beans. Period!

(well, maybe a few extra jalapeno peppers on the side)

you get disqualified at the biggest chili cookoff in the nation in texas if you put beans in chili. beans DO NOT belong in chili!!! you can put in dead skunks roadkill possums bits of dog an old horse hoof or even a tire iron but NO BEANS!!!!

down south we call noodles in chili chilimac. usually served to children in school cafeterias.

Chili does not have beans in it and the closest thing to noodles it should ever see is corn chips or maybe crackers if you are out of corn chips.

Also if its good chili your toilet should catch on fire the next day.

Chili over some kind of noodles might be a change for some leftovers, but nothing I'd set out to do.

Weirdest thing I've heard with chili... dunking cinnamon rolls in chili (from friends in Nebraska).
