I am from Texas. Chili was invented there, and I have a running argument with folks in PA as to whether beans go in chili. They do NOT!

Noodles? NOODLES? My god. No, a thousand times no. You need a big bowl of Texas Red, some crackers or cornbread, and a big pitcher of iced tea. It isn't chili if it does't make sweat break out on your head.

Also, chili is NOT made with ground beef. A very course ground chuck. Real chili has CHUNKS.

I my area we always have beef, onions, beans and spaghetti with crackers on the side, oh yeah.

I'm really surpised so many have never heard of it.

Chili without beans , is more like coney sauce, but i go both ways...lol. And Texas style does sound good......
