Thanks everyone, I guess sometimes it doesn't really seem all that real until it hits close to home. I grew up on an army base overseas and I was there when the war(s) began and saw everyone deployed but no one I knew had been killed until now. We can only hope they're in a better place and remember them and their sacrifices every day.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. The exact same thing happen to me not long ago. I hadn't talked to the guy in years but he was a pilot in the Air Force and his jet went down. Played soccer with him for years in high school.

If the pain is lacking so is the discipline...
