Well, i'm not up on the news (no tv and just got back online yesterday) and don't really know about the whole chikfilet thing (I see someone died), but what difference could some minor ceo's personal views affect you and I?
Think about this, a few years ago it was estimated that about 1 in 10 people were gay. It's probably a slimmer margin now. Something to think about at the Olympic party you're at this weekend,eh? Now you have to start watching who takes an inordinant interest in the swimmers (Ooo, nice Speedo). It's a fact of life now. 50 years ago it was desegregation. Before that it was religion (would JFK bow to the pope), and the Reds. O.K.
they might be back, I'll give you that.
Heck, the people that gave us rational thought, philosophy, and democracy were pretty much doing the same things that a congressman does to his page in the cloakroom.
There is nothing new under the sun.
About the only stand I take now is against places that post "no guns". Life and humanity move on.
And just for the record, I'm so hetero that I eat my hotdogs from the middle.
