Oh, and by the way, I can personally vouch for the fact that gum does lose it's flavor on the bedpost overnight....

I'm not rightly sure just HOW MUCH of an obstruction is required to get a KB. However, I do know this story to be true:

In 1989, my mother was going through the police academy at Kilgore College, Kilgore, Texas. On the range one day, a VERY EXPENSIVE SHOT was witnessed by all the cadets.

The range instructor would hide extra money from his wife by rolling it up and storing it in the bbl of his .357 S&W. He forgot that he had a $100 bill in the bbl, and when he was giving a demonstration, he almost started crying as tiny green shreds came out of his gun after firing at his target.

SO.... a hundred bucks isn't enough to cause a KB

Givin if you were fast enough to stick your gum in a gun barrel pointed at your face, youd die with fresh breath, our m4 come's with plastic barrel gaurd caps(hard plastic), iv seen ppl fire without removeing the cap and it simply blows the cap off, no malfunction.

We use video of a 12/20 burst in our hunter safety classes to teach the students not to carry other people ammunition when hunting. A 20 gauge shotshell will fit nicely down the barrel of a 12 gauge Shotgun. Load a 12 gauge shotshell behind it and KABOOM. This videos is in slow motion and is a quite effective training aid. Pieces of shrapnel flying in slow-mo really drives the point home.

Seems to be, but I just remember hearing it around. I had no idea who wrote or sang it.
