Just a point of information:

Canada has about the same population as California, and they have about the same GNP. I don't think the state of California has any ships, surface or otherwise, maybe a few boats.

The two USS ships named California don't count.

I'm just saying.

We have fairies in the San Francisco Bay, doesn't that count?

What's that you say? They are ferries, not fairies? I see. Well, whatever. They are boats.

California grows way more food than Canada ever could and we
have better pot too!

And California has the eighth largest economy in the world compared to Canada at tenth.

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure Canada is still solvent.

Possibly, but most of it is either uninhabited, or almost uninhabited.

Ok, Canada scores a big point because of this. And another for Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Brown Ale. USA still leads, just because of bacon!!!

Canada does not have to spend millions on defense as Americans do. They sleep safely every night beside the meanest bear in the woods. If they did not have such a powerful neighbor it would be different. Canada would be a few igloos owned by Russia. Bet on it.

You know what.......Russia can have our lousy igloos if they want them. Well just build another long house and live there. They just can touch our maple trees.

>Canadian Army Corporal Rob Furlong had been spoken of by soldiers in hushed tones for five years before it fell upon the ears of a reporter and become public knowledge and his name revealed. Furlong killed an al-Qaeda fighter from 2.43 km (1.5 miles) during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan in 2002.<

I have a friend in Ottawa who was in the Canadian Air Force. He spent his service at (in?) Cheyenne Mountain. He liked to take a rowboat out on one of the four reservoirs inside the mountain.
