Have you ever counted the number of Michigan tags on cars headed
south on I-75? You'll lose count real quickly!

The Georgia state record heaviest whitetail (and for many years tied with one from Maine as the world record heaviest) weighed 355 pounds, field-dressed. My Dad took one that weighed in at 260 lbs. Just how big do those Labs get in Michigan?

Oh, and there are definitely trout in the South. Go to the mountains and fish for native Brook Trout, or head for Atlanta and catch Rainbow or Brown within sight of the skyscrapers.shoots down two more reasons to live in Popsicle land...

There is much to like about every place you go, but here in the South, we rarely have to shovel 3 feet of humid off the roof of the house.........

Very true, and fun to boot!

BTW Not near BC. 2 hours south of Niagra Falls. One hour if it wasn't for the border crossing! So Ontario.

Oh wait, one more. In America, we still know how to read a map!

Damn, the drinking age must of went up after I moved then. I used to live in hamilton and it was 18years. But since the falls is closer to the border I might of been to keep it closer to 21 with out us Canadians dying of thirst. Haha

I can read a map just fine as well, don't even like GPSs. Their to dang finicky and always need to "find a signal" no matter where you are with them.

Could be. It was 19 back in 1998 when I was driving limo and last crossed at FT. Erie via the Peace Bridge. Haven't been up there, since 2002 when I was up on business in the Falls, and I made no libation stops during that trip.

GPS,yeah my wife has one. She relies on that thing. I'm the odd ball with a road atlas and about 15 maps in my truck. Funny thing, I never lose signal with those maps! Somtimes lose the maps, but never signal!

I got a GPS a couple years ago and it has changed my life, basically. I would be afraid to go anywhere unfamiliar because I didn't want to get lost while driving around alone. I hated going in to The City and I was reluctant to visit people in areas I'd not been to before. I got I GPS and I don't hesitate to go ANYWHERE. Mine never loses it's signal and even though it might sometimes take me the long way, it always gets me where I want to go. I love that thing. I'm not afraid to go anywhere anymore.
