But I guess having Todd smith it is okay, too.
Jeesze, I just got my checkbook out and bought a Colt.

I'm feeling so inadequate right now.

I think I need a hug, is the SOS or SHS around?

Really any bleeding heart lib will do.

Should I put a trash bag on to practice safe hug?

You know swine flu and all, I'm just thinkin'.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Na, really its similar to tanning any leather. Except there seams to be a need to stay away from salting the hide. Something to do with the thinness of snake skin and oh yea, those scale thingies.

I got mine from Mel at Dog Grips in Manroe, MI. Send him an email and ask him.

Or check out his offerings:

I heard J.D. tied himself to a grinding mill wheel for 7 years, pushed it till he got large enough, and broke into a snake worshipping temple to slay the 30 foot Rattler they kept there for his grips. But I guess it's okay that you ordered yours online.

Who is gonna sight this in for you?

Well, I heard J.D. wanted sights, to he went to Japan, took a piece of rail (causing a Bullet Train to derail, but that's neither here nor there), and laid virgins on it, deflowering them with such ferocity that it flattened the steel. The poor girl that finished what he called "dovetailing" still doesn't walk or talk.

But I guess if you can't afford sights, that's okay, too.

Don't make me tell you how he got the Tritium for the night sights.

* bump for drive time *

To all members (and visitors) that care to join in, this old man is asking you for a favor.

My entry in the 460 Rowland build-off is held up because of a back-up in work at my gunsmith.

I have a great gunsmith, Todd McKechnie of Customized Creationz in Washington, MI,

www.customizedcreationz.com

whose business is in total overflow. His work is that good!

He is working on my Defender (Canebrake) and because of the queue, needs to finish it prior to, or with, Fenrir.

I’m asking you to send an email to Todd, DO NOT FLAME HIM! He does have my guns!

I think if he gets enough emails we may be able to get my job bumped up!

Write what you want but this is the thought I would like conveyed;

guns@customizedcreationz.com

Todd, I’m a member of the www.firearmstalk.com forum and have been following Canebrake’s custom 1911 build. He has been talking about a Colt Defender waiting finish at your shop.

I’d like to put a request in for you to finish this project and get the gun back to Canebrake so we can see this build and your work that he’s been bragging about!
