I'm not pitching for the store. I am telling people with one near them to check out the firearm sales they have going. Just in case anyone has been looking for something new. I'm considering going, but I will have to take into account that I would have to pay for a FFL transfer because there are no Cabela's in Ohio.

For instance:

Remmy 700 ADL (w/scope-ok scope) for $550

Bushmaster ORC for $950

Fausti Volo over/under for $800 (great deal)

Fausti side-by-side for $1200

Many pistols too. The Taurus 1911 5" for $620

Lots of plastic for sale and name brands. Glock, Springfield, CZ, Smithy, Beretta, Ruger, etc.

These aren't amazing deals, but for anyone looking to save a little money, there ya go.

Again, I do not work for the store. I do enjoy a gun sale, tho.

saw some ar's w/6 free mags for $699 near sherwood, AR. They had lots of great deals there lke an Sv40e for $289 w/ 3 mags

I've gone to the one in West Virginia several times, they seem overpriced on everything to me.

The thing is, everything else in the state is cheaper than out my way.

They do like to accomodate those with CCW's, though.

I've been to that same Cabela's a few times, and yes, Cabela's can be more expensive. They rarely have sales on guns, and if you can show them an ad from a competitor with the same product at a cheaper price, they honor that cheaper price. I only buy stuff from Cabela's when it is on sale. I just thought some may want to check out the deals they are offering this week. They have many other rifles and shotguns and pistols listed in the sale flier. They also get some things that are tough to find elsewhere, in some cases.
