I was just looking at PMags on Gunbroker and they are selling for insane prices. 5 new mags going for $233.00! A month ago I was buying these for $9.99 a piece.

There are people out there who are ready to take advantage of the situation and make money. This time it is on the non-gun side. Heard on the news today that parents are buying bullet-proof backpacks. One parent was said on Yah Hoo to have bought two of the $200 back packs, one for school and one for going to the movies. I think these fearful parents are being taken in by slick snake-oil sellers. How good can these "bullet proof" backpacks be for $200. Haven't heard if they incorporate ceramic plates. They are going to have those kids scared and preoccupied about getting shot.

Just called my LGS... He said they were out of everything. He said they had a little bit of ammo left, but they refused to jack up prices. He said they were going to go around a buck higher per magazine because they are working so hard to find them.

He said its been crazy....

We were at our LGS and he did raise the prices!! He had an SR1911 in stock for $830 when I bought mine for $720 about 2 months ago from them!!! The pmags were $20 each not bad, but Cabelas were $15 each. It's just freaking crazy right now!!!

I do not have a stockpile because of lack of funds but getting some here and there but started before the craze. I haven't really purchases anything during this spree except some 30 round surplus mags for $10 each.

The sad part is a lot of people went and spent money for stuff that won't even be banned. They didn't need to spend money they don't even have.

My LGS has all the AR and AKs on the back wall which you can see from the street. Well, monday when I drove by the store was PACKED and that back wall was looking picked over. Today when I drove by the back wall was empty. I kinda wanted to stop in and ask whats going on, but whats the point? I could see for myself just driving by.

I just went by JSE Surplus again to pick up some Pmags for my brother. I was just in there two days ago and stocked up on mags for myself. But today, the place looked like they were having a going out of business sale! I mean they have walls and walls of pegboard with uppers, lowers, and complete guns. These walls were bare today while just two days before they were still mostly full. Not a single hi-cap mag to be found in the whole place! It's insane what has happened in just two days!
