I have my AR, so I'm pretty much good. I'd like to pick up a couple stripped lowers next year if funds allow (and if they are not overpriced), but I have other things I need to get like a 1911 for CC. I doubt the 1911 is on any potential ban lists. I'd also like to add a few more guns to my C&R collection. (Enfield, Arisaka, Mauser, ect)

AR/AK are plentiful.....
However, I had to wait on my Glock .27, luckily it came in the next day. The 40cals sale like hot cakes and the 9mm models were a dime a dozen.
My roommate wanted to buy a s&w bodyguard .380 (pocket pistol) and 4 local gun stores were sold out. The store employees said out of all other guns they can't keep those small 380s in stock. so many people wanted them there was no hold list!!!!! You would think that Obama specifically mentioned semiautomatic subcompact handguns!

The Bill Goodman gun show is in town this weekend, it will be interesting to see what supplies are like. I go every month and to this point I have not seen dramatic rise in prices.

Everyone calm down, I just read that the President is putting VP Biden in charge of the inter-agency policy changes. We have nothing to worry about with anvil Joe running it.
He's likely to not even know what the subject is and will therefore do nothing.

Hmmmm, perhaps some worrying is warranted. Slow Joe is a dolt. However, he is in a very powerful position. He and the rest of the anti-gun liberals will no doubt take full advantage of this current tragedy to push forth their political agenda.

Prices on AR parts are already going up and I have a strong feeling they won't be going back down for quite some time.
I talked to a rep at Zanders (distributor) yesterday who said their phone system is being jammed with dealers making orders. I'm getting emails from NICS apologizing for the extreme delays in background checks.
I'm not going to feed the fire panic, but I sure will quietly stock up while I still can.

People here in Temple, Texas have been overnight Doomsday Preppers. I went to Academy yesterday evening to get a new pair of binoculars and from the look of the the ammo shelves and gun racks behind the counter, it looked like a mob came and ransacked the place. Good thing I'm pretty stocked up because ammo is getting bought up like crazy. I saw a husband and wife buying as much of each kind of ammo they could use. They even had their two young daughters rounding boxes of ammo up!

"Buying craze, where are you?"
Tried to buy an old Nagant revolver on my CCR today. Placed the order with JG. Do you think there will be problems? Always wanted one because of the unique action on them, think they are cute little F*****s, but that's just me. You don't suppose that they are so terribly dangerous, they will be banned from sale. If they are, does that mean I have to start worrying about my Remington 1858 black powder, and finding food for it? Oh bother!

I just ordered two High-Caps for my XDm Compact. Figure I better play it safe if they go full blown Clinton on us.
