I picked up a couple Thermold mags for $20 each. I think at this point I am going to wait for prices to return to a reasonable level. Definately going to get geared up for reloading .223 so I don't get caught short in the future.

I doubt that anyone who bought them at top dollar will sell them for anything less. They will keep them instead.

Talked to a guy at a LGS about some garands he has, was looking at getting rid of my 6.8. I told him I had a Barrert upper on a Sun Devil lower, Stoner match barrel, Midwest ind hand guard, PTI gas block, Benny Hill muzzle break, nice trigger job and 4 mags,(2 Barrett btw). He said it wasn't worth as much as a plain factory gun, cause someone other than a company built it! Wth? I think it's worth a good bit, any input?

I walked in Sportsman's Warehouse, picked up 4 boxes of ammo and 1 sealed Blazer CCI 115 gr 9mm ammo 350 rounds.

They had the boxes behind the counter and handing them out if someone asked. Only 6 AR's came in and the crowd was massive, worst I have ever seen before at that store. The parking lot was jammed with vehicles, even the dirt location had vehicles.

Last edited by Bigcountry02; 01-18-2013 at 02:57 AM. Reason: Correction on ammo amount

Do you like the 6.8? If so I would keep it. At least until the dust settles.

I like it pretty well. I'm more of an m1/m1a guy. But the 6.8 is a shooter, I just hardly ever shoot it.

You need to sell this to someone that knows you and understands what you put into it.

I think you're right. Probably just hold on to it.
