Of course there would be nothing wrong with the gesture, but the insinuation it is needed, is wrong!

...and of course the accusation that the gun companies are gleeful over this whole situation is not only "wrong," (as you have pointed out,) but it is insulting!

Which is exactly what I'd expect from a lib connected to the Brady Campaign! This isn't rocket science!

Removes myself form the thread.

Just got back from Walmart. They had two ARs in the case, and only one box of 5.56 left (no .223). It was face down among other boxes of ammo, so it was hard to see unless you knew what it looked like. I got it. The guy at the counter was surprised there was any left. He asked me where I found it.

I went to my LGS yesterday. It looked like they had a fire sale........

Normally there are 20-30 AR's and such on display. But not yesterday, they were all gone, sold out.... They were running low on semi-automatic pistols too.... Sold out on most hi-cap mags.

As well as most of the .45cal, 9mm, 40.cal and of course 223./5.56.

I noticed they jacked up the price on the ammo they still had.....

The buying craze has hit hard here kannapolis.(N.C.) & surrounding areas.

no 22lr/9mm/.223/7.62x any mm/30-06/all gauges of shotshells are even dried up -Walmart,LGS,Dick's,Basspro.ect...

I know its a supply & demand but has anyone noticed the higher prices @ places like (Gunbroker.com)

I watched a WASR10 bring $1600.00+ last night

The basic ($700.00) AR-15's are bringing over $2000.00!!!

The goobment wont have to reinstate the AWB if there is nothing out there to buy/afford....

Guess all this pronoia buying will be good for the Economy?

I went to a LGS/range Friday. It was jammed. Watched to ARs go out the door in 30 min, and they only had one left. A handful of handguns went also.

My next door neighbor's son lives in Minnesota and is a college kid working at a local Gander. He says they are out of ARs, and low on semi automatic rifles, which he says is unusual as hunting season is over.

Walmarts here are all almost out of handgun ammo, and low on rifle ammo.

I'm selling 30 round AR mags on eBay for $65 each and they are flying out the door. Woot wood.

And that's reason to celebrate? You are part of the problem. Taking away the supply and taking advantage of folks is nothing to be proud of.

While I agree that $65 is VERY excessive, it's not a rip-off if people are willing to pay it.

Just sayin
