Longer than that, HBO just signed on for season 2! From the sounds of it they may be making 12 or so episodes a season per book. So far so good episodes 1 and 2 have been enjoyable, hopefully they can pull this off.

Thanks, WDB.

From the first time I heard Sam use "Chuck Findley" as an alias, I referenced the MLB pitcher. Kind of ironic on this forum that he (the pitcher) was married to Tawny Kitaen during her crazy time considering that her first husband was the lead singer of Whitesnake. She was the uber hottie in their videos as well as the movie "Bachelor Party." I was satisfied that the writers brought that together. His distrust of the "spooks" came out as well.

I will say it again: Bruce Campbell has the best agent in Hollywood.

I really enjoy Burn Notice. The writers do well with the characters (including the guest spots), the f/x guys do well with the explosions and there is gun play in every episode. The spy stuff is consulted by an actual ex-spook. Donovan is just ok as the main character but once I learned he was a black belt in karate and has actually studied ju-jitsu, it kind of ties it together. Suit wearing bad arse that you would never peg as a bad arse...fits in with the spy thing.

I thought they just might jump the shark when the "Jesse" character joined in but I don't think it has yet. Fiona is the kind of character that works hard and really enjoys her work...

The "Fall of Sam Axe" was back written, but it tied together his character. I wanna see the "Climb of Fiona Glenanne" and I volunteer to do the climbing.

Seriously, Sam got his Honorable Discharge, full pension, flight to any city in the USA and an ice cold beer written into his orders from the Brig Admiral. Who else could pull that off but Sam Axe?

Oh, come on! You folks are slipping!

ONLY Sam Axe can get in trouble for diddling the Admiral's wife and live a lifetime of chasing women in Miami. And that happened after said Admiral assigned him to a hot spot in SA and made sure he was issued blue BDUs. Who else could pull that off?

No question about it, Sam is the man. I sure would like for them to do a story on Fionna.

I thoroughly enjoy Burn Notice and think the little "tips" are well thought out and neatly done. I could see a full length movie based on Donovan's work prior to him being burned.
