Local shop here had a Springfield XD in .45GAP for sale for $219.00.

They had no Ammo for it.

Thought about it.

But figured since I had a .357sig didn't need any other odd rounds.

Springfield in .45 GAP? Would not touch the GAP anyway...

sounds like a great price...i know the 45GAP round is shorter than the 45ACP round...so i doubt a barrel swap and a mag change would be cost effective if anyone was to come across a deal like this in the near future?thats if you can even switch out the barrels and mags in these GAP's? the GAP brass cases are thicker than the 45ACP so no go on just trimming down ACP's and making it work that way....?i've heard that the ammo in 45GAP is a lil expensive & kinda hard to come by....

The local Gander mtn had two of these for sale used when I was in there today. Both looked like they'd been thrown from a moving car and they still wanted $249.99 each. I bet they'll sell them both two

It's hard to beat the XD package right now, it's a great weapon at a reasonable price. Springfield landed a big fish when they contracted that one.
