A range in a gunshop? (to try out pre-purchase I take it)

Now that's civilised.

I think I have been there. There is a big gun shop with an indoor shooting range near the Kentucky horse park. My father wanted to stop in there once and check the place out. It was a while back, so if they have expanded thier place then this is now a very very big gun store.

Having a range in a gun store isn't that unusual. There are two of them near me.

A rarity here though. In fact I only know of one in this country - the HQ of the Sporting Shooters Association of Aust...and its more like a range with a gun shop tacked onto it, rather than the other way round. And you can't use the range for 'trying out' possible purchases, as you must have any gun used there already registered to your ownership.

Its a great idea, and one I wish we could have; its unfortunate I must buy a firearm without necessarily being able to test it out that make/model first.

It's worth your while to see it once if possible. I've seen some wild things there
