I have a hard time turning down deep fried, mushrooms, fresh green beans, zucchini, videlia onions and my favorite...deep fried artichoke hearts.

One of my favorites from an Italian cook book I use regularly:
  • Cut off individual pieces from broccoli crown and blanch until they just start to get soft then put in cold water to cool (you can do this in advance) and dry off excess water
  • Heat some minced garlic in a few tbls. olive oil in fry pan then put in blanched broccoli and cook for only a minute or two.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley, pepper and salt to taste and serve.
This goes great with grilled meat and roast potatoes, in fact, made up my mind on tonight's dinner.

Well now , according to weather trends , prevailing winds and your "Demographics" , by the rule of "Deductive" reasoning , I have a theory..!

The correlation between the O-zone and the last time yue-d eaten broccoli or sprouts,is in (FACT) ,is in direct relativity , and all other given data..!

PROGNOSIS: You must (RE-CYCLE) yur "Spent gases", as it were , recaptured in perhaps , a 500 gal. LP tank.....!

Cows farts..? Now that would be a whole another issue , and YES , I have a (THEORY).......!

Oh, I can eat broccoli okay. It's the Brussels sprouts that ticked my co-workers off.

I have done similar with corn. If you lightly fry some corn, it really releases the sugars in it and it is incredibly delicious. Just fry until a little hint of brown shows. It's great!!! You can do it with canned or frozen corn but it is best with fresh corn.

Sounds good. I'll try it sometime and pass on the idea to my daughter, she's a vegetarian.

I love brocolli raw with a dip, steamed, with cheese, in other recipes.

And of all cakes, home made fruitcake in my fave.

Also love breaded and deep fried cauliflower.
