Default Bought a gun finally

I purchased up a Springfield XD sub-compact in 40 S&W yesterday. I got it in Ohio and am having it shipped to Michigan, I found it on gunbroker.com. No sales tax this way, but I had to pay $25 for shipping. I ended up getting a bi-tone; the Ohio dealer was blowing them out the door. I got it cheaper then an all black one would of cost me to buy locally. I have a FFL guy that lives just down the road for me. He will do all my paperwork for $25. I'll hopefully have a post up by this weekend how I like it.

Sweet. I just bought the XD45 compact. I haven't gotten to fire it yet, but maybe this weekend.....

You will love it. I've got the XD9 SC and love shooting it. I've heard they are pretty similar in recoil.

Congrats, MarkoPo. The lure of the XD9, Sig P226, a 1911 and maybe a couple other handguns is wearing down my resolve not to apply for a pistol permit....

I'd be willing to bet this won't be your last. It's amazing how fast the collection builds once the bug bites. I've went from 3 to 12 in about 7 months. Didn't buy a lot of new high dollar guns, just shopped for quality used that met my needs of that moment...

Enjoy your new weapon!

The XD is an excellent choice for those who like double action semi-autos.

Personally I'm a single action Kimber 1911 man, but different strokes for different folks.

The only things that count are that YOU like it, and that it performs as it should if you ever need to use it in a self-defense situation.
