Trip What the hell is a "Cowboy" Heel? Is that a rodeo bum that writes bad checks? Western boot heels can be made in many styles for working or walking. The Walking Heel, Dogger Heel or a "Cleft and Undershot" to name a few. In the Real West it is a Western Boot.

I have one pair of boots for everything working, dates, weddings, and funerals.

I pair of slip on steel tow boots with the the fabric top and brown leather bottom all of the boot is brown. Made by Schmidt I've had them for the past two years and they're still holding up.

I'm sure you'll get a hundred different answers because people's feet are different. What's so comfy for one person may absolutely kill another's feet. Try as many on as you can and go with what works for you.
