I remember that season all too well.... Speaking as a Canes fan it was a bit dissapointing to get to the big dance for Lord Stanley and not have the good ole' Redwings waiting to duke it out with us..... Instead we had to face the Oilers (???) with TPP (That Prick Pronger) in the lineup.

Default Mr T at Hawks game last night....

Should have flipped over to this on Center Ice... Would have been a lot more entertaining than watching my Canes lose to the Jets last night...

Do you think Lavvy should make Couturier a healthy scratch for a few games? Just to wake him up?

Not a bad idea. Look what it did when Tocchet did it to Stamkos. Plus that it may delay the inevitable Holmgren give up on him. How many kid draft picks has that happened to?

Behn Wilson
Mel Bridgeman
JVR
Joni Pitkanen
Bobrovski
Carter
Richards

I can go on.

Default Holy CRAP!!...

http://msn.foxsports.com/nhl/story/calgary-flames-trade-jarome-iginla-to-pittsburgh-penguins-032713
Unless something very unusual happens (like a comet hitting the Earth..) it looks like the Pens and the Hawks for the cup finals at this point...
With my Canes in 10th place in the East.. it looks like another "Oh well.. next season" ending again for us.

Ohh yaaaaaaaa
I've been a Blackhawks fan my whole life. Thanks to my Dad. They are smokikn' for sure. I told Daoust_Nat the Hawks were bringing home the Stanley Cup again this year. He told me they'd burn out. I don't think so. Though I must say, The Pengie is rooting for The Penguins. But what does he know.........

I think of you off and on when I listen to the games on the radio. Hawks are going to take it again this year.
