Happy birthday SS. Buy whatever you really, really want.

SS....Happy Birthday.

Get the belt. You can always get the ammo at wallyworld.

As for the handgun permit, take the course and file the paperwork for the permit as soon as you are elegable. After you have it, it's much faster and easier to add and delete etc...That's how it is in Saratoga County anyway. I know all counties are a little different but you still only have to go through the initial application process once.

If you were closer to me I would take you to the range and let you shoot a couple of handguns.

Happy birthday SS, and many more. IMHO you need to go ahead and start the processes. As everyone on here can tell you, it won't get any easier. Take any classes, training you need that you cantake now. Get paper work together, dot all you "I"s and cross all your "T"s if you know what I mean.

Son, your turning 19 and all you is a doing is telling us what you want to do? Get your butt out there and go spend some money getting what you want B-day boy. How the hell ya gonna be able to experience what most of the population is going through right now, if you don't start out spending beyond your means?

Seriously, SS I know you want suggestions because in some strange way you believe we all have experienced everything and advice should come easy, but I can remember being 19, strange enough, and I know that opened the door of freedom and choice for me and I pretty much did what I damn well pleased from that point on, even with suggestions from more experienced people. That's how most of us learned and sometimes we wished we had taken the advice offered. Go do what you really want, make good decisions and enjoy the still youthful part of your life. You seem to be more mature now mentally, than any 19 year old I have ever met. Happy Birthday son.
