Default Biometric Safes

Looking for a reliable bio metric safe under $200 for just 1 handgun.

Any recommendations?

Are you sold on biometrics? If not here's one to consider. You do have lots of choices out there.

Veer away from GunVault! I ordered their top of the line GVB2000 safe and it was a complete let down. I had it back in the box, shipping it back to them 24 hrs after i received it. I got it all figured out and synchronized with my finger print pretty easily. Then after that, I would engage it w/ my print and I could hear the lock "open" but the door would stay shut. I read the troubleshooting manual and I kid you not it said "you may have to bang safe on bottom left corner on hard surface to open". To my disbelief I engaged it with my print, door didn't open, so i picked the sob up and banged it on the rug "open sesame!!". Right after that, I googled the safe and a GunVault rep had stated on a website that it was a problem they were "in the process of fixing". Why sell the damn thing if it doesn't always work?? I shipped it back and went w/ a sentry fire safe for my closet, hell with technology and biometrics!
