The coolest Metallica show I have ever been to was one where they showed up in a Tower Records parking lot and played from the back of a semi trailer with roll up canvas sides.

When they hit it big with the black album they became just another big rock band. They got away from loving their fans and went to YOU OWE US BECAUSE WE SING FOR YOU....
after that happened I left and have never looked back.
