Im a sipper not a shooter, i havent been drunk in a LONG time. I like to sit outside in the evening and relax and watch the hummingbirds and watch the kids play, and sip on some johnnie walker blue label or drink a couple of cold beers.

I decided I had had enough anyway and left the fly to the rest. When I woke up in the morning, I was looking for what hit me in the head. As I looked in the glass the fly was gone. I know he didn't fly out of the glass and there was still some shine in it. The only thing I reasoned could have happened is, the fly was desolved by the contents of the glass. I have sipped some since, but when I get into the cups it's straight bourbon that spent at least some time in a barrel and has a tax stamp.
I LOVE shine. My first experience came from Popcorn Sutton's still. He was my uncles landlord back in the 90's and it formed the greatest connection for good whiskey. My first experience was about 4oz and I was slapping myself in the face and laughing uncontrolleably because I didn't feel it.

I've probably drank over 10 gallons of popcorns product. If you don't know who he is, here's a link to his stuff on YouTube http://www.google.com/m?client=ms-android-google&source=android-home#hl=en&client=ms-android-google&source=android-home&sky=mrdr&site=webhp&source=hp&q=youtube+popco rn+sutton&oq=youtube+popc&aq=1&aqi=g5&aql=&gs_l=mo bile-gws-hp.1.1.0l5.3782.10344.0.11971.16.12.0.4.4.0.207.18 00.0j11j1.12.0...0.0.9K6wQyjAmfg&bav=cf.osb&fp=1&b iw=320&bih=242

His death was the end of an era. Word around his parts is he may have faked his own death.

Furiously writing notes........

My favorite way to drink whiskey (Burbon only) is on the rocks, slowly melting next to my beer. Sipping only. I have pretty much stuck to Jim Beam, but I think I really need to branch out.

Shine was my first drink; thought it was water with a slice of melon and ice on a hot day...it was not refreshing in the same way. I was eight or nine.

I never went down. The old guy that let me have it by mistake quickly realized his error and called for some lemonade for me. IIRC, i hiccuped quite a bit. It was a good day.
