MOst comfortable would be Timberland. I have a few pairs and they are all like coming in out of the cold. AMazing boots. Worse boots would probably be the Wal-Mart special

When it comes to the way I get busy, the Wesco Highliners custom fit is how I fly Wesco Boots - Mens Highliner : Wesco Highliner 16" Lace-To-Toe w/ Side Plate Black Boots - Mens - FREE SHIPPING!

I actually buy the Wesco's from Polecat Lineman Supply as they do foot measurments for factory custom builds.
When my dad would get his wesco's they would spend 30 minutes measuring his feet then have him step on these things that would make a mold of the bottom of his feet.

Them things are expensive but they last for ever. I wore my dads line boots when I was a kid and I would get out his belt and boots and spikes and climb the polls around our house for fun. I tried so hard to get hired on for PG&E but never could.

I'm a huge fan of Doc Martin boots... not exactly a work boot but I have three different pair.
I really like the "moderate weather" Belleville boots that the Army is issuing now. They are nice for cool/cold weather and Goretex lined for water-proof-ness.
I'd like to get a pair of Oakley boots. A lot of friends had them in Iraq and I heard nothing but great things about them.
