Default Been 3 days since last cigarette

Well I'm in the process of joining the ranks of those who have quite smoking. I'm at day 3 now and man does this suck. Arrrrgggghhh!!!!

Smoked a pack+ a day (2 or three when I was traveled for work) for 15 years and 4 months. I tried quitting several times. Tried the patch a few times, cold turkey several times. Finally tried Chantix in Feb.

I'm now a non smoker. It's F-ing awesome! If you don't make it, try again with Chantix!

Commit is what helped me. Nicorette Stop Smoking Gum | Quit Smoking Aid To Help Make Smoking Cessation Permanent

Another thing I found was this. I tried to quite 3 times before I did. Why didn't I quite the first 3 times? Because I didn't want to. Then I landed a job in a school and figured if I can't smoke for 8 hours a day why do I need to smoke before or after? If you feel the urge to smoke go do something where you wouldn't have smoked like loading or cleaning guns (At least I hope you didn't smoke during your reloading or gun cleaning).

I have a high school buddy. Well we have been friend since grade school. His dad smoked until the day he died. He died with a cigarette in his mouth because he fell asleep with it in his mouth and it burned a hole in his O2 tube then caught his face on fire which caught the bed on fire he ended up with 3rd degree burns on 85% of his body, lung cancer, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Not my idea of a good way to go out you may differ.

Just think after you quite smoking your sex life will get better as well. Smoking causes your winky to shrink and it can cause you to blast off before the countdown reaches zero.

Also STOP drinking anything with caffeine in it as that can trigger you to want to smoke.

Well worth it in the end! I went from a pack and a half to cold turkey. Best decision EVA! Four years without a cigarette now and life is good.
