Y'all should hear them sing Dixie.....

I was in SLC on business one day, literally across the street from Temple Square. When I finished business I walked over into the square, and walked into the Tabernacle. The Choir was rehearsing, and you could sit and listen in. Strange building- acoustics are so good, no sound system really needed.

REALLY good afternoon. The choir is great- the organ is a HOOT!

My son used to play Dixie, it used 2b my favorite. He just got his first job as a pianist. I'll ask him to record and post it.

That one sends chills up and down my spine. One of the greatest renditions ever.

Second only to hearing it on a bagpipe.

From the MTC album America the Beautiful. Audio only- sorry.

I was present when the Black Watch played Dixie one night in Richmond VA. If THAT does not raise the hair on the back of your neck, you are not a Southener.
