The Bastard handgun your going to love or loath
I saw this on another forum and just thought you all would love to hate this thing.
Personally I would buy one if it were real. Just to bring to ranges to anger everyone around me.

I bet Glock would make a good 1911.

Haha very true. I'd rather have my 1911 in .45 ACP than anything else  .

Not trying to hijack the thread, but why the GAP bashing?
While I don't own one, I can look at the data, and from what I see that the round is comparable. People who want a .45 caliber bullet in a small frame Glock pistol have an option, instead of being pushed to the .40 S&W. Albeit a more expensive and harder to find option, but no more exotic than many other offerings found on the ammunition shelf.
Just because J.M. Browning didn't invent something doesn't mean it's complete crap.
Pretty decent Photoshop on the picture though.

The difference is that JM Browning designed the 45ACP to fill a need.
The GAP was designed to create a need.

The .45 GAP is from what I've heard a great cartridge and inovation. The thing is that most 1911's people want in .45 ACP. Having a 1911 in .45 GAP would be useful for a smaller sized 1911 like a commander or smaller size, but for a full size one there's no need for it. I'd love to see Glock make 1911''s and especially a commander or smaller sized one in .45 GAP, because that would allow me to still fire basically the same cartridge in a smaller 1911 and use it as a pocket firearm. I've never even seen a .45 GAP cartridge before, but from what I hear it allows you to basically have something like a Glock 26 or 27 in .45 caliber and not have to get a bigger gun.
