make your own
Yeah, there in lies a bit of a rub, no pun intended. I have a bit of OCD - which means once I start down a path, I usually can't stop myself until I have exhausted a lot of time, money and effort to get to a point where I am comfortable with the end product.

In some things in life, it's a huge plus.

When it comes to something like Bar-B-Que sauce, I can't be having BBQ three or four nights a week for the next 6 months while I work at perfecting my own. My waistline and my cholesterol levels just won't stand for it... LOL

So, I need to find something that is good, that I can buy and just leave well enough alone.... otherwise this could be a time consuming passion of Pandora's Box I am not really wanting to open.

JD, good sauce can go on chicken also.

My uncle swears by Sweet Baby Ray's on his ribs. He cooks them in a Weber on a Weber rib rack at 180 to 200 for about 4 or 5 hours over Kingsford briquettes with loads of hickory or oak chips.

They're by far the best ribs that I've ever had.

OCD is a chef's best friend. That's why I tweak my recipe every time I make a batch of sauce.
