I can not see how that would even be legal. I don't, but if I did have any accounts at that bank they would be closed immediately.

Who has a BofA card needs to go purchase some ammo or firearm. See what happens, I was on other forums and the folks on those forums were discussing the video and say it is false.

I call BS on this one. Used my debit card on Monday to buy a Shotgun.
Also this would not work anyway for technical reasons. The Banks have a merchant number and merchant code. So they could stop you from buying a gun from a gun dealer if they have a gun dealer merchant code but if you bought from stores like Academy they would be under a different merchant code category. They can't tell what you buy there only the store name and total amount of purchase.

I just purchased 100 rounds of hollow point winchester ammo on ammunitiontogo.com
The transaction seems to have gone through and I got the confirmation e-mail. Still waiting for it to post to my BoA account. I will update if it becomes declined.
I think more information is needed about this video and this subject in general.

I only posted it because BoA has recently declaring shenanegans on its customers. From kidnapping them in NY when customers tried to close their accounts to the Gun manufacturer who had his accounts froze. I hope this isn't true. But I wouldn't put it past them .

That guy in the video sounded confused as hell and not sure of company policy. He never did give an answer. I bet if I called up the same dude and started with, "Your company uses one dollar of my money on every purchase to fund child porn!!!"
I bet I'd get the same response... "Yeah...uh....uh.... let me see.... uh.... yeah....uh..... uh....."

I buy from vendors constantly ammo parts guns. Never have had a problem on both credit and debit cards
