fmj, I'm in Maine. 68 acres with miles of woods around me. Hunt bear, deer, turkey, porcupine, squirrel, fox, coyote and snowshoe hare. Got a full blown apple orchard in my woods, and I connected every deer trail for miles, right through my apple trees.

Cut raw bacon into small pieces then mix with raw hamburger when making patties for the grill.

Have to revive this thread to post this.... This guy used bacon as currency to make his way across the USA from NY to LA. No cash, no card just a trailer full of bacon he was willing to barter for whatever he needed. I guess it worked for him, he's in LA...
