They do have the "Livestock Model". Still wired but more powerful.

You could use the Bug-A-Salt rifle and shoot it in it's eyes when it gets close.

There is that.

44 magnum. Because the 50 is much to big to use for me, and probably for 95 percent of the guys in a hurried stressful quick encounter. And the 5.56 is way to small for such a large animal with thick hide and large bones, and the 30 rounds is useless when you have only a few quick seconds. And the expanding 5.56 is good for people, but NOT for something that is storing up winter fat from spring to early winter, and NOt with something that has as thick of a fur coat as a large bear. If some of you guys think the 5.56 is not so bad for home defense due to it not having enough energy to go through a few pieces of sheet-rock, what makes ya think it will reverse that kind of thinking when going into thick skinned dangerous game? DOH!

Although the AR will be handier when you come across a field of marijuana out in the wilderness.

Actually a pipe or bong works better than an AR! LOL
Although I have heard of smoking shotgun.

I have found that if I am carrying an AR the pot growers think I am a cop. When I have my sidearm and they can't see it they think I am just some innocent hiker. Helps for me to get the drop on the bastards so I can S.S.S.

Then the bong comes out!

Kidding. Kidding. I don't smoke the stuff.
