i saw the cooler last night and wanted one.. but my cheapo 20 dollar one works for now.. lol

I saw a guy who made his own Yetti cooler for less than $50. He bought a cheap plastic cooler from the store and several cans of that spray foam insulation. Then he covered the entire cooler in about 2 inches of the stuff. Lastly he painted it a metallic silver to reflect the light. He claimed that he could leave it in the bed of his truck for almost a week and it would still have some ice in it. It looked very redneck but hey, if it works it works.

His theory behind all this was that Yetti coolers have insulation in them and regular coolers just have air between the inner and outer walls.
