"Hi, I'm looking for Lt. Moss?"

*cut scene to a man kicking the hell out of a vending machine*

*cut back to a person near the female asking the question*

"Oh, he's over there relaxing, let me go get him for you"

If you get this one, you really know your movies....

I'm reaching out on this one: The Hard Way with James Woods and MJF?

I was stumped. I tried to think of all the usual actors that would play a hard ass cop beating the **** out of a vending machine, i.e. Pacino, Garcia, Clint, etc. and I couldn't come up with it. I was at looking at DVD's a couple of weeks ago and just happened to pick up the package for the Hard Way, and remembered watching it when it first came out. I'm heading to my MA class but I'll post a quote tonight. Like you JD I want to find a stumper

You should rent it for a buck from MovieCube or something. It's a pretty funny movie actually... some great quotes in there...

Good luck with this one:

"These are the Hartz mountains of Asia. Terrain so rugged, so treacherous, no country will claim it."
"Worse than Detroit?"
"I'm afraid so"

and another from the same movie:

"I live ze unknown, I love ze unknown, I am ze unknown."
"Claude, where are you living now?"
"Zat...is unknown. I don't know"

LOL - With C3's help, I know the movie, but I am going to let it play to see if someone else can get it.

If it was just the first quote, I was tempted to go with Volunteers with Tom Hanks and John Candy - but the second quote, and c3's comment, caused me to rethink my dinner.

Gotta love John Landis movies. Animal House, Trading Places, Blues Brothers, The Three Amigos, Spies Like Us, and of course The Kentucky Fried Movie!

Next Quote:

"They all have husbands and wives and children and houses and dogs, and, you know, they've all made themselves a part of something and they can talk about what they do. What am I gonna say? I killed the president of Paraguay with a fork. How've you been?"
