In another botched operation, the atf had 35,000 dollars worth of goods stolen from their store "front" operation. The articles states they put an "atf military style rifle on the street". Also the agency is being sued by the landlord for unpaid utility cost as well as damages to the building itself. The Milwaukie nieghborhood is not happy with them for drawing criminals and gangbangers to a quiet nieghborhood. Maybe the worst thing they did was over pay for the guns they bought. People were buying guns at gander mountian and going to the atf store to sell the guns for a profit.

When the 10-month operation was shut down after the burglary, agents and Milwaukee police officers who participated in the sting cleared out the store but left behind a sensitive document that listed names, vehicles and phone numbers of undercover agents.
