...Then claim that they can be "easily converted" to full auto real guns.

Yeah, I know the date is 2 years old, but just ran across it... besides, if it's only from 2010, I'm sure the same morons who conducted that operation are still working for the ATF. The concern was the metal receivers being correct to add real parts, like a fire Control Group and a real upper.
My air soft stuff is all metal receivers and runs 6mm ammo. It could be made into a real model with some time and ingenuity, but I would not trust it in a firefight.

I feel SOOOO much safer now that those deadly deadly toy guns are off the streets.
"Airsoft guns can be converted into military grade weapons" WTF? An airsoft gun is NOWHERE near strong enough to handle the pressures of a real round. Even the metal ones would blow apart.
The morons like that ATF agents need to have their dicks snipped off. Maybe then all this stupidity would disappear by the next generation.

I read a write up on that article of how to convert an airsoft gun to a real gun, and if I had the tools and ingenuity to convert an airsoft to a real gun, it'd be so much easier to churn out a real lower receiver.
