Even if I had the time to put earplugs in I don't think I would.
The intruder could be right next to you and you might not hear him.
Unless you keep some electronic ones next to your weapon.
But I think I'm O.K. with the ringing for a bit.

Exactly, bobby. There's even the possible defense, "I wasn't breaking in. I thought I saw fire when I drove by."

Better off leaving no question. If you are gonna use a .380 for home protection, you better be good a double tap to the chest.

I do like the noise effect to hearing as a reasonable excuse for a delayed call to 911. I had always planned on the "I was in shock" but I was in shock and due to the loud noise from the gun shots I couldn't hear well is much better.

See you learn something new everyday!

To pay it back, someone told me they keep there extra car remote by there gun. If someone breaks in they hit the panic button on the car remote, setting of the car alarm. It will distract the bad guy and may get attention from your neighbors. Every little thing helps when things go wrong.

You could potentially clog the barrel, and if it's a Glock, that could permanently damage your metal components.

I have it all figured out if I ever have to shoot anyone breaking in to my house.

first if I do happen to not kill him. Fine let him sue me. I will be suing him and his mother and father and if raised by grandmother I will sue her as well. I will sue for pain and suffering loss of hearing clenaing expenses for cleaning up my house pain and suffering for my kids my wife my 4 cats and my dog even the mouse that lives in my A/C closet you can then add mental durress for all the above as well. By the time I get done adding all that up they will owe me aprox $25.9 million dollars just to cover all the expensices.

Do you know how hard it is to find a qualified cat shrink? I will replace any surface that his STD infected blood or body touched so I will have to tear down my house and rebuild they are going to pay for that as well. so you can tag on another $500,000 to rebuild my house. That would bring the total up to $26.4 million. I will be nice and round it up to an even $30 mill to make the payments easier to calculate.

This home owner needed to learn to shoot accurately while moving. Apparently they allowed the perp to find his way out of the kill box!!
