I did not see where it said to back it up. Meanwhile, I went into the App Store to update some apps, and noticed all of the missing ones needed updating. I did so, and the missing apps have returned. I am now satisfied.

Can't blame you for missing that, seeing as you had other stuff on your mind, like your Daughters wedding....

Still running fine on my iPad mini( which I'm on right now) but when I tried installing on my iPhone(4/S) this morning it crashed and gave me black screen. Quickly wiped it clean & re-installed, and I was only 10 mins late to my spot on thesportsfix.net this morning....

Give it a couple weeks and you will fall in love with it! Much easier to access key functions!

I'm acclimating to it starting to lose those old gestures and remembering the new ones. I still see to much android design in many of the menus and app interactions but it's been working well for me

There's an update for it already. Downloaded and installed quickly.

As for there being 'Android' in it, that's merely apple responding to customer demands about features. Both operating systems are great for each other, they are pushing each other and we are reaping the rewards. Both customer bases are getting the best of both nowadays and with a contract the prices are staying reasonable IMO
