Anyone like soup?
I am in the mood for some Miso.

er....No thanks. I'll stick with the old good old tomato soup (with a grilled cheese sandwich, of course) or a hearty bowl of beef barley.

My ex husband used to make home made Miso soup. I'm not kidding.
Home made chicken noodle soup is my favorite.

I make a KILLER chicken noodle soup.

You need
4 boneless skinless chicken titties.
2 32oz low sodium chicken broth
2 or 3 large carrots
1 white or yellow onion
4 stock celery
3 tbs minced garlic
1 tsp poultry seasoning
2 bay leaves
1 package large or extra large egg noodles
EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

Get a large stock pot or dutch oven (I use a 7qt dutch oven) make 2 to 2.5 turns around the pan with EVOO. Heat on med heat. Peal and chop the carrots and add them to the pot. Chop the celery and add to the pot. Chop the onion and add to the pot. Stir and heat till onion turns clear. Then add poultry seasoning. Cook for 2 minutes more. Now turn heat to high and add your broth. Bring to a rolling boil and add your chicken titties. Cook at a boil for 10 to 20 minutes. Once cooked through or almost through. Remove from pot and reduce heat to medium now get two forks and shred chicken into bit size chunks once complete add back to pot and ad noodles and stir. Cook till chicken and noodles are done. REMOVE the bay leaves. In under 30 minutes you just made kick ass chicken soup....
