Burnt out...no, frustrated yes, sometimes. Frustated at a "bad" day at the range when I couldn't hit the ground if I fell out of a tree. Frustrated and overwhelmed at my Cadillac taste on a Volkswagon budget. I've been playing drums for 12 or so years and have found that it IS possible to get worse the more you play sometimes...best advice I got was to simply push away from it for a bit. Grab some "me" time, decompress and when you come back to it, you'll appreciate and enjoy it that much more. It works for all things in life. Moderation is the key...

Not sure if its too much exposure or what, but I don't enjoy them like I use to.

Any thoughts?
Just let me know when the Sputnik 50% off sale happens. I'd be glad to provide you some cash for a new hobby.

I've gotten burnt out on the whole marriage thing, but never the gun thing unless I'm out of spending money and then I don't want to talk about it .

Burnt out? NEVER!

As soon as I get done with one gun or type of guns I move on to the next. I have a list of guns I want to buy and that lust is sort of raked by priority. The list gets rearranged from time to time but never shrinks. As soon as I get the slightest bit bored with a particular caliber I start experimenting with reloading different special loads for my guns. It never gets boring and I never quit learning different things about all my firearms as they all have a unique special purpose to me.

Well, after a few weeks of not looking at my firearms, I came back to them stronger than ever, you guys were right, it was definitely me, I just got so bored sitting around that it got to me. It's been warmer lately and ive been getting out more. It helped tremendously.

Uncle Sam decided that I qualified for a tax refund this year and I may have to pick up another toy.

Now that i know the cause of the loss of interest, I'm sure it'll never happen again.

And Tack, ill sell them to you for 50% of the sentimental value, I'll let you have the Enfield thats my profile pic for $1800.
