I tried for a while, but i find using a DE Gillette Slim much simpler and faster. Still use a badger brush and real shaving soap though.

Does this count as a straight blade?

Seriously though, I've thought about trying it. Right now I use the Gillette Fusion. I have THICK beard hair, and not many razors do a great job.

I've been using a schick quattro titanium...but I must admit that at 19 years old I've been curious about a straight shave since my dad made me watch all those westerns where the guys got their shaves at the barber with the strop and the lather....looks awesome!
