Guy goes by "kwikernyu" or some similar nonsense, IIRC.

Gives respectable CCs a bad name, and sets a poor example.

It appears he wasn't faster than jurisprudence, however.

Painting a real gun to look like a toy could have gotten him

shot dead, and IMO, LE would have had reasonable provocation.

For a change, I must laud LE's restraint, even if only

for this turkey.

Pestering other LACs in a park setting isn't part of the

memory we want to leave as a lasting impression, is it?

What if someone in that dept. kills a kid with a fake gun because their last run in with an orange tipped gun happened to be a real firearm???

IIRC (kind of fuzzy), he actually mentioned painting the tip of his gun orange here. I believe he got the proper ass chewing. I guess it didn't work.

This guy is an embarrassment to gun owners everywhere. We don't need idiots like him out there making matters for us even worse. I remember this guy from a different forum I used to belong to. If he is the one I am thinking of he was very irrational and combative.

Kinda reminds me of a Gecko45 type, I hope this will be a lesson to the azzhat type of gun owners.

gecko45 is a little better than this guy. gecko45 keeps his BS on gun forums (and is a little entertaining), this guy spreads his BS online, and offline and just makes an ass of himself.

He did actually mention that he specifically painted the tip orange so as not to alarm people (meaning he purposefully made it look like a toy). Yes, he got his ass chewed. After said ass chewing, he started another thread about painting guns, showing several professionally refinished arms alongside his orange spray painted Draco (he had painted the entire thing, wood and all). It was actually a bit humorous, watching him try to imply they were all either done by the same person, or that his rattle can job was even remotely comparable.

Myself, and at least two others gave him hell and trolled the living snot out of him. It was fun.
