Here's 6 cantaloupe we picked this morning from our garden,i'm sure there's more ready this evening. Looks like we will be eating lots of cantaloupe until the first frost.

We need some hogs with the way meat prices are going?
My grandparents never had running water, they had a slop bucket in the kitchen where all the scraps went for the chickens and hogs.

We picked 26 melons today, gave away 10 and still have 19? Looks like probably about a dozen melons ready tomorrow?

Guess what we're eating every day lol

haha I knew the math didn't work out(good reading),we had a few picked from the day before in the total count.
We picked 12 more this morning and I should've checked the patch this evening, this hot weather has them ripening quicker than I can pick.

Next year just 4 cantaloupe hills, that's what I said last year with 6 hills, and we planted 11 hills this year??

Go figure?? haha

We've been giving them away.

My wife manages/coordinates home assisted living for people with special needs,we sent quite a few with her this morning for her clients to enjoy.

This time of year around here we have to keep our car doors locked to keep the neighbors from filling the back seats full of squash.

Any extra veggies I have I take to work, and put on the break tables. They disappear in several hours.
