April 24th 2013 and it snowed here this morning in central MO.?
Fortunately no accumulation other than on vehicles, but it was crazy how hard and how big the snowflakes were? Looks like the garden is still put on hold until Mother Nature decides Spring is actually here?

Willshoum yes we are flooded in several parts of Missouri already and we still have the Dakotas winter melt to look forward too.
Feast or Famine lately??? lol

It depends on what you can harvest, you ain't gonna starve. The animals out in the wild will be stacked up..........You'll need a good smoker for all that meat................And don't let those carp go to waste...........Hanging baskets at this time of year sounds pretty good............

Yes, the river is out of it's banks here. The ground is saturated but soaking in. We are officially out of the drought we've been under for a couple years now. If the fields dry up soon, our farmers should be okay.

Here in California we have not had rain for several weeks. Our annual rainfall totals are just over half of normal and we get very little rain from now until fall. Temperatures are in the 80's and clear skies in the forecast for the foreseeable future. Gardens are getting in though. The well will be getting a workout.

Just read where Chicago area is at 300% of normal rainfall for the year. Winds you started building that big boat yet?

Default Hard times ahead............

I've been asking for the last two years, wheres the bees. It seems the scientist are worried also. Take into consideration humans killing off new hives, the pestisides, Euro mites, very cold and long lasting winters. Are they next as an endangered spiecies. If so, look out world................no bees in my yard, not even on the clover flowers...............
