I agree. For me, it's all about the fresh garden tomatoes. Still warm from the summer sun. Just picked off the plant and eaten in the garden like an apple. It's a skill to eat a tomato like that and be able to slurp as you bite into it and not a get a drop of tomato juice on yourself.

Default The punkin patch.............

How many of you gardners would be interested in planting edible pumpkins that will last in storage. This is not Holloween or arnamental. grown here in the south. The seed starts here.......They can grow to over 40 #. I only have a limited amount................

Me this year I'm not planing on doing many tomatoes or peppers as my mom was the only one that ate them and now she doesn't live with us. This year its all potatoes corn and watermelon, maybe a few beets. Hopefully my raspberries will come in this year also.

Definitely, I'm doing cherry tomatoes, yellow pear tomatoes, jalapenos, Serranos, onions and cucumbers. Weather is great here Sacramento, too bad Feinstein isn't hehe.
