Viking, you ever use epsom salt on your pepper plants, placed in the soil or diluted with water and sprayed on the leaves......
Nope. Never done that. I would never even consider spraying salt water on the leaves. Given what I see on the coast near here at my brother's place the salt does more damage to his garden than he does (he is not a gardener). He is about 300 yards from the ocean and maybe 50 feet ASL.

Default Fall planting......

nows a good time to get your fall crops started, planting seeds for transplanting. Your potato's from the spring left overs should be showing sprouts, same with garlic and onions that were hidden away in the fridge. [ my wife does this ] don't cut your fall potato seed, plant them whole and hope they don't rot from the heat and rain.....Can't wait till september......

I heard they was gonna change all the plantin zones because of the global warming, If you expect a mild winter you should have no problem.... But then again every farmer is taking a chance that every year will be good. Right now the corn crops are next to nil because of drought. Its only going to get worse world wide.... Plant what you can and hope for the best, thats all you CAN do.......If my crops fail and the worms take over at least I'll have bait to go bream jerking.....[perch]......

There will never be a winter here mild enough to grow anything.
