Once the cartridge arrived on scene, I converted to them, and havn't turned back since. No more cuts, no need for the styptic pencil.

If your looking for a close shave, go to Wal-Mart and buy a bottle of "Shave Oil" and start using that, with your hot water.

'Steel cuts flesh / steel cuts bone / steel does not cut steel.'

Become steel or get cut.

The past 50+ years all I have used. Straight edge, old coffee mug with barbers shave soap and brush. Along with a leather strop. (sp)
