the one we had burned down several years ago. the food was excellent and they had a huge variety on the buffet. and i mean huge! the owner was in his 80's so he decided not to rebuild.

we had another place closer to us that was a Cajun restaurant and they hadsome really good food too. we ate there quite a bit as well. they closed down a few years ago when the owners wife committed suicide.

we are down to one seafood place now and the food is good, but not quite as good as the other two places were. we eat there occasionally.

Love good seafood, in fact the wife and I went to Red Lobster yesterday in Wichita and ate. It's good food but expensive. We've got another GREAT restaurant north of us a ways in another small town that has a seafood buffet once a month. All you can eat for 20 bucks. Great deal but don't make it up there as often as I'd like.

i like good seafood too. we just have to drive so far to eat a decent place though now.

we have more than our fair share of fast food, but are really short on decent restaurants to eat at.

All I've had is the deep fried.

I'd love to have it baked, with horseradish.

Yeah, I ordered the "Gator Tail" on the menu,

and it came out like Chicken McNuggets.

Except it tasted great!

Really want to try it cooked other ways, tho.

if you ever get the chance, it's pretty good eating. i have enjoyed it everytime i have eaten it. i haven't had any in quite a while. it may be popular in Lousiana though. they have an active alligator hunting season there.
