Do college and college life count as hobbies?

Big time music buff, lots of movies on DVD and Bluray, I am a really good cook (wanted to be a Chef for a long time), lots of photography, own two horses, I fish when I can. I read a lot, currently Sarah Palin's book that my liberal son gave me for Christmas. And, of course, guns and shooting.

FWIW, I do my fair share of camping and off roading, Which here in Utah will lend itself to shooting.
Some of the tools of my trade...

I just sold 2 other Land Cruisers earlier this year, It was a sad day, But they went to a good home.
Im hoping to start another hobby, That being reloading, I have a good portion of the equipment, I just need to set it up and see what else I need.

Reading - I like to educate myself on a little of everything.
Computers - LAN parties
Poker - It's a hobbie NOW, but it was my career for 5 years while I ran a private club called Black-Ops Poker.
Carpentry - Im not any good as far as being an artisan, but I can make stuff that functions properly
Bible - This is about the coolest thing I've ever done. I study the bible in both Greek and Hebrew (and Aramaic) and unravel the mysteries of heaven and earth and get to know our Creator in ways that most of our ancestors thought unimaginable.
I play the drums.
I write... well, sort of. I started in college writing children's stories, then went on to political blogging and humor. I've written several published articles on poker. I am currently laboring (fruitlessly, I might add) on an Christian apologetic about the promises of God.
Music - I haven't been to a show in two years and yet I've still seen more concerts than is safe for human consumption. I like almost all genres to some degree or another, though country is way on the bottom of that list.
Movies - Im an addict. Been awhile since a movie has impressed me.
MMA - a fan of the sport, but never actually did it. If I were in better shape physically, I'd happily start a fight club in my garage.

Camping, fishing, hiking, snowboarding, mountain climbing yada yada...

I think after firearms, my second biggest money magnets, are my aquariums. Not the most rugged, manly, engaging, brawney, etc. hobby to have, but again it comes after firearms. So I have lots of ways to deal with people who wanna make fun of me and my lil fishies!!!
